Memphis Police Department (MPD) officials captured Sheila Downey, 68. After they were made aware of reports that an individual had been injured at 832 Wrenwood Avenue at around 8:11 a.m. on April 24.

Whenever police showed up, they observed a man had been wounded in different places, as indicated by an affirmation.

In a Monday Facebook post, an MPD representative said: “After showing up on the scene, officials found a male (81) experiencing different cut injuries. The casualty was moved to the Regional One Hospital in basic condition however later capitulated to his wounds.

“Officials were prompted that the casualty was engaged in a fight with his significant other when she apparently wounded him. The suspect, 68-year-old Sheila Downey, was not on the scene when officials showed up, [but] she returned and was arrested.”

As indicated by the news, Downey and her significant other had gotten into contention over the flavor of his espresso.

Police added the man guaranteed that Downey went into the pantry to drink bleach. And stabbed him when he attempted to prevent her from hurting herself.

Downey was subsequently captured and accused of first-degree murder.
