A truck dropped its cargo of cookies in a roadway in the United Kingdom on Monday, causing a delectable traffic snarl.
A lorry hauling a huge cargo of McVitie’s biscuits lost the snack foods in the middle of Ilkeston Road in Sandiacre, according to police in the Erewash District of Derbyshire, England.
“Please bear with us this evening whilst we try and ‘digest’ this issue,” police tweeted. “A lorry load of McVitie’s finest have decided to abandon ship causing a slight obstruction!”
While police tried to clear the road, delays were reported in both directions.
There were no injuries reported as a result of the spilt biscuits.
