A violent Rottweiler that broke free from a house attacked a two-year-old boy, leaving him with terrible injuries.

The toddler from France was attacked by the stray dog in Pattaya, Thailand, and required 200 stitches in addition to immediate care for a broken jaw.

The 11-stone dog first goes for his nanny as they pass a house with open gates in the shocking video, knocking her out of the way before charging straight for the child.

The restless pet runs towards them, and his four-year-old sibling can be seen swerving out of the way, but the two-year-old is not as quick and gets shoved to the ground.

The nanny and the dog’s owner’s assistant, who rushes out of the house to help them, desperately try to free the child as the dog mauls him for a whole minute.

The 68-year-old woman recalled her actions in attempting to save the youngster as the dog attacked him, saying: “I raced out of the home to check what was happening and noticed the dog attacking the boy.”

I took out a metal stick and frightened the dog away.
Jet, a 39-year-old neighbour, added: “This dog ought to be on a lead at all times, and its owner must exercise extreme caution. Such a vicious dog, it is.”

The Rottweiler had to be removed by three adults, and the child was then brought to Pattaya Hospital with facial injuries including a broken jaw.

Because of how badly hurt he was, 200 stitches were administered to him before he was flown to Bangkok.
The home’s owner, who allegedly left the gate open, has been questioned by police who are looking into the incident.
