Russian firm gives scary buried alive experience for £50k in therapy
Russian firm is offering consumers the option to be buried alive for roughly £50,000 as part of an anxiety therapy that will also help users find “psychic abilities.”
The “full immersion” funeral in St. Petersburg involves consumers being buried alive for up to an hour, while the company also provides an online version for £13,000 that includes “appropriate music, candles and writing a will.”
Yakaterina Preobrazhenskaya, the company’s founder, stated that clients will also be supported to manage their “fears and anxieties” following the funeral package.
The incident was described by the life coach as a “true symbol of fighting for yourself and your own happy future.”
The £13,000 online package is a “stress therapy for fears and anxieties,” but the “full immersion” plan, which includes a religious ceremony, is more expensive.
A “necessary resurrection with an all-around revitalised knowledge of their mission” is also included, which is believed to renew a person’s “desire to live.”
Preobrazhenskaya emphasised in an Instagram post that it is safe to be buried alive, saying, “We do not intend to expose our clients to undue risk.”
“Scientists have calculated that the buried person will have enough air in the coffin for about 5.5 hours.”
Preobrazhenskaya stated that she has received a lot of interest and that she is unable to accommodate everyone who wishes to try her service.
