UK police to patrol using auto-rickshaws, Twitter amused
Auto-rickshaws are common in our country. We are also aware of such types of transportation in a number of Asian and African countries. Auto-rickshaws, on the other hand, are virtually unknown in Europe. Gwent police in the United Kingdom, for example, have imported rickshaws into the country. You’d be mistaken if you assumed they’d start a trip service with the freshly inducted three-wheeler. The cops will employ three-wheeled rickshaws to patrol parks and sidewalks.
“They were on display at our Behind the Badge event, allowing local folks to see them up close and learn more about how they would be utilised.” According to the reports, “the reply was overwhelmingly positive, with parents telling officers that they would feel better knowing that there was assistance for young people out at night, and from ladies who could remember of an occasion when the tuk-tuk would have been a pleasant sight.” According to rumours, the rickshaws would soon be visible in towns such as Newport and Abergavenny in Monmouthshire.
Autos have been used as public transportation but Gwent police has different plans for them. They want e-autos to be used as “safe spaces” where crimes can be reported, help sought, and crime prevention advice can be given.

Mahindra also used Twitter to discuss the entry of its auto-rickshaws into the UK police force. It was mentioned, “Autos have been used as public transportation but Gwent police has different plans for them.
