Sofia University in Bulgaria, wormholes exist and are lurking in black holes, according to physicists. New Scientist thinks some supernovas may be wormholes.

Black holes are the universe’s most mysterious objects. They’re so thick that even light can’t escape their gravitational attraction. Since supernovas were discovered, scientists have wondered where the matter goes. Black holes may lead to “white holes,” which spew particles and radiation.

Here come our imagined wormholes.

Wormholes

Wormholes are hypothetical bridges that connect universes.

Einstein and Nathan Rosen theorised in the 1930s that wormholes connect black holes with wormholes. So-called Einstein-Rosen bridges are wormholes.

Scientists believe they mistook wormholes for supernovas. A study suggests that wormhole “mouths” may mimic black holes.

How do we differentiate?

Discover.

Black holes and wormholes are different.

A black hole is a cosmic body with enormous gravity from which nothing can escape, while a wormhole is a funnel-shaped space-time conduit between universes.

Gravitational force can’t be escaped from supernova. Theoretically, things would travel into and out of wormholes. Wormholes let items escape.

Supernovas affect many cosmic objects; wormholes connect two universes.

A black hole has substantial confirmation of its existence in space, while a wormhole does not.

Supernovas and wormholes are two of space’s most weird and unusual phenomena, but only one is confirmed.

If Einstein’s general relativity holds true for wormholes, it could transform our concept of space-time.

A wormhole could make time travel possible.

*Every prediction in Einstein’s general relativity theory has been verified. According to some experts, it’s only a matter of time before wormholes are discovered in space.
