Putin declares “all options” for nuclear danger after rising tensions

Vladimir Putin has ratcheted up nuclear tensions again by declaring that “all options are on the table.”

In an unsubtle muscle flex over eastern Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin called up memories of the United States’ use of atomic bombs on Japan.

While speaking on the phone with French President Emmanuel Macron, Putin reportedly stated that the explosions demonstrated that they “don’t need to attack the major cities in order to win.”

A French government source told the Mail on Sunday that despite the best efforts of so many people to avoid such an attack, “all options are on the table.”

The autocratic leader’s brazenly terrifying statements came as Russia apparently plans to withdraw soldiers from sections of the Kherson region in southern Ukraine as defence forces make inroads into the city and surrounding area.

Locals in the area have been advised by Russia that they must leave since both sides claim the other could use a bomb on the city.

Russia alleges that Ukraine intends to use a dirty bomb on its own soil, which would appear to be a Russian weapon and potentially prompt an escalation from the west.

The report comes as Russian forces across the warzone suffer crushing defeats.

Reports have begun to emerge about the ‘special operations failed attempt to conquer the town of Pavlivka in Donetsk, Eastern Ukraine, in recent weeks.

The 155th Marine Brigade of Russia is said to have sustained huge losses in what was termed a “pointless” operation.

According to the report, a private letter to the Russian Ministry of Defence reads, “General Muradov has thrown us into an incomprehensible offensive in order for Muradov to earn bonuses, and to be promised a hero of Russia.”

“We lost 300 people killed, wounded, and missing in four days. The command of the district hid this.”

“How long will General Muradov and Akhmedov plan military operations? They call people meat.”
