Inflatable Rudolph is attacked by a bear in Nevada yard
The home security camera of a Nevada guy captured footage of a seemingly puzzled bear attempting to eat an inflatable Rudolph holiday decoration.
Dave Lester of Zephyr Cove, in the vicinity of South Lake Tahoe, stated in a Facebook post that he awoke on Saturday to discover that an early-morning visitor had demolished the inflatable Rudolph he had set out for Christmas.
“Sad news,” Lester wrote. “Woke up this morning to Rudolph laying on the ground unresponsive. No amount of CPR or duct tape could revive him.”
Lester uploaded surveillance footage of a bear in his yard at about 5:00 a.m. destroying a lawn ornament. According to him, the animal was uninterested in any of his other decorations.
Approximately once per week, according to the homeowner, a group of bears is sighted in the neighbourhood.
Lester told the media, “They have a little route they use where they walk right in front of the houses,”
He reported that bears occasionally inspected the inflatable Rudolph last year, but never caused any harm.
“There were a couple stare downs last year but for some reason he just figured he was going to make a meal out of Rudolph,” Lester explained.
