نوبیل انعام یافتہ ملالہ یوسفزئی کا کہناہےکہ جب میں کمسن تھیں تو لوگ پوچھاکرتے تھے کہ بڑے ہوکر کیا بننا چاہتی ہو۔ پہلے میں کہتی تھی ڈاکٹر بنوں گی، پھر کہتی تھی وزیراعظم بنوں گی، پھر توجہ یونیورسٹی میں داخلے اور پڑھنے پر مرکوزکردی۔

سماجی رابطے کی ویب سائٹ ٹویٹرپرایک پیغام میں ملالہ کا کہنا تھا کہ نوجوانوں کی طرح مجھے بھی معلوم نہیں کہ کیریئرکا راستہ کیا ہوگا، لیکن میں اپنے مستقبل کا فیصلہ خودکرسکتی ہوں، چاہتی ہوں تمام نوجوان خواتین اپنے مستقبل کا فیصلہ خود کرسکیں۔

When I was younger, adults would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up. At first, I would say a doctor. Then prime minister. Then, I just focused on getting into university & deciding what to study. Today, like a lot of young people, I’m not sure what my career path will be.

ملالہ  نے خواتین کے عالمی دن سے متعلق کہا کہ لڑکیوں کی اپنے مستقبل سے متعلق امنگوں کے بارے میں بات کرنا چاہتی ہوں اور بتانا چاہتی ہوں کہ نوجوان خواتین اپنے مستقبل کے بارے میں کیا خواب دیکھتی ہیں۔

But I know that I can make that choice for myself and that’s what I want for all young women.
