US Election 2020: Bolton refused to testify for Trump’s impeachment

Republican consultant and Donald Trump’s former National Security Adviser, John Bolton appeared on ‘BBC Newsnight’ and said he was worried about the president jeopardizing American security.

Bolton seemed irritated when asked why he didn’t purposely testify at Trump’s impeachment trial and replied saying, “The fact is, the advocates of impeachment did a terrible job and made the situation much worse … the result of the impeachment was the empower Trump, not to constrain him.”

When asked once again, he swerved the question by replying that he had written a book about what he knew and the book “sold very well”.
