On Saturday, US President Joe Biden, who has gained notoriety for his verbal gaffes, sparked a storm of laughter when he referred to former first lady Michelle Obama as the former vice-president.
Through his remarks at the USS Delaware Commissioning Commemoration Ceremony, Biden accidentally replaced his prior position with Michelle Obama’s. A video of his address has gone viral on social media, and the hashtag “Vice President” is trending on Twitter.
During his speech, he was praising current First Lady Jill Biden when he made a grammatical error. As Biden said, “And I’m deeply proud of the work she is doing as First Lady with Joining Forces initiative she started with Michelle Obama when she was Vice President and now carries on.”

I was thinking he meant when his wife was "VP", as in wife of the VP. Still a mistake tho
