Video of kid sitting and yawning in amusement park alone goes viral

Even though the attractions at the amusement park, such as the Columbus swing, may appear to be entertaining, even adults can feel overwhelmed when riding them. A recent video depicts a toddler sitting on one of these rides without displaying any emotion.

The undated video, which is being extensively shared on social media, depicts a youngster between the ages of five and six idly sitting on a Columbus swing with a bored expression.

As the other riders screamed with joy, a small boy can be seen yawning. The video is made much more intriguing by the fact that the toddler is seen sitting alone on the ride without a safety strap or an adult companion.

A user on Instagram commented on the video, “This is energy I need for the rest of 2022.”   another user commented.

An Instagram user raised safety concerns for the toddler in the video by writing, “This video is not cute. Not funny. You’re promoting an unsafe situation for this child. He is not strapped in the ride safely. He is too small to be sitting there by himself. By keeping this video up you’re promoting an dangerous situation & showing parents it’s ok”.

Another individual echoed this feeling by asking, “Where are his parents and his buckled down harness? and not to mention he doesn’t look old enough to be on the ride to begin with.”
