Mexico breaks world record with around 4,000 trampolinists
When 3,935 persons participated in a trampoline fitness session that lasted for 45 minutes in Mexico City, the city set a new record in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Sunday at Mexico City’s Plaza del Plinth was the location of the event that successfully broke the Guinness World Record for largest class of its kind. The announcement was made on Twitter by Claudia Sheinbaum, who is the leader of the government of Mexico City.
According to the event organisers, more than 4,000 participants bounced on trampolines for the full duration of the class; however, 130 persons were disqualified, bringing the total number of participants down to 3,935.
An official from Guinness World Records was present during the attempt, and they were the ones who verified that the record had been broken.
