Children dance to display what’s “trending” in India. Users enjoy following the trend and experimenting with it on the photo-sharing platform. So, when we question, “What is trending in India?” what comes to mind? At the time of writing, the video had over 3.1 million views and over 4000 likes.

Ningmar Yonjan Tmg, an Instagram user, shared the video, which began with a girl asking the other, “Guys, tere India me kya chal raha hai (Guys, what is trending in your India)?” The younger of the two responded, “Mere India me… (In my India)” and began singing and dancing to the viral song ‘Mera Dil Ye Pukare Aaja‘. The Lata Mangeshkar song returned to popularity after a Pakistani girl named Ayesha’s dance movements caused a stir on the internet. She became an internet phenomenon after dancing to a remix of the 1954 classic.
