Deer extraordinary intelligence for escaping a barrier gate: Watch

A stunning video of a deer cleverly manoeuvring his massive antlers to get out of a barrier fence is gaining momentum on social media. Susanta Nanda, an Indian Forest Service (IFS) official, posted the brief video on Twitter on Saturday.

“Excellence is not only skill. It’s an attitude. Attitude to survive & evolve. Watch the manoeuvrability of the antlers….” Mr Nanda said in the post’s description.

The movie began with a white-tailed deer breaking through the barrier by sliding the right side of his antlers outside and then repeating the same with the left side. The deer then pressed its body to the ground and slipped past the gate after getting its head out.

The deer’s clever manoeuvring astounded internet users. Some commended the animal’s “smart move,” while others merely stated that “animal intelligence is an instinct.”

“Animals are extremely good at brain-muscle coordination and have excellent muscle memory for precisely calculated manoeuvring,” one user commented. “Just fascinating show of extraordinary intelligence in animal species…imagine how immensely blessed the world would be with such level of progressive manoeuvrability for mutual accommodation,” another commented.

“Adaptability is the buzzword,” said a third, while a fourth simply added, “Very intelligent.”

Meanwhile, footage of animals doing amazing behaviours frequently garner attention on the internet. Previously, a video of a young monkey cuddling with a tiger cub and having a good time together went viral. The two’s adorable friendship wowed internet users. Over 2,800 people liked the video and hundreds commented on it. Users filled the post’s comment area with loving remarks and emojis.
