Viral: Police officer stuns everyone by losing 46 kg in 8 months
You can accomplish anything you set your mind to if you have the will to do it. Jitendra Mani, a police officer with the Delhi Police, further demonstrated this. You might ask, how? The senior police officer, however, shed an astounding 46 kilogrammes in just 8 months. You did read that correctly. Police commissioner Sanjay Arora also congratulated him for accomplishing this milestone.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police (Metro) used to weigh close to 130 kilos and had a number of health problems, including high blood pressure and high cholesterol. He resolved to alter his lifestyle choices and get fitter after realising that he wasn’t in good health.
The DCP shed 46 kg over the course of eight months, shrinking his waist from 46 to 34 inches. Without using drugs or tablets, he also brought his cholesterol and blood sugar levels to normal. The policeman also went eight months without consuming any rice or chappati.
Jitendra Mani makes it a point to walk 15,000 steps every day in order to become a healthier version of himself. He also eats carb-free cuisine and drinks juice made from bitter and bottle gourds. Fruits including apples, papayas, kiwis, and guavas are also consumed by Mani. He consumes a large amount of fresh salad before eating lunch or supper and hydrates in the afternoon with either buttermilk or coconut water.
Additionally, he only eats green veggies and lentils for lunch and roasted nuts or fruits for snacks in the evening. Only vegetable soup or chilli paneer is served for dinner. Mani consumes protein powder twice day as well.
In front of other police officers and dignitaries, Sanjay Arora, the police commissioner, also gave DCP Jitendra Mani a commendation for his remarkable metamorphosis.
