When Rett’s mother, Jacqueline, committed suicide, she inspired the sad composition “Shame is a River.” She is 26 years old and stands 5 feet 6 inches tall, highlighting her personal and heartfelt lyrics. Wes O’Connor, a Georgetown University alumnus and graduate of the Interlochen Center for the Arts Program, is Rett’s partner in the realm of freelance directing and videography.
