After disbanding in 1992, Riley worked on Wreckx-n-Effect’s “Hard or Smooth.” Over the years, he received five Grammy nominations, winning for Michael Jackson’s “Dangerous” and Blackstreet’s “No Diggity.”

In 2016, Teddy Riley received the Legend Award at the “Soul Train” Awards, recognizing his lasting impact on the music industry. His star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2019 solidified his status as a music icon.
