The leader of the honey trap gang targeting prominent writer and dramatist Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar has been taken into custody. The police have confirmed that Hassan Shah, who is at the center of this criminal network, was arrested along with his accomplice Rafiq in Peshawar.

The gang, which comprises 12 members including women, was involved in a plan that included leaking inappropriate videos of Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar. Shah, who has been identified as the mastermind, alleged that Qamar’s visit to the woman’s home was for improper purposes rather than for scriptwriting as Qamar claimed.

Qamar had initially raised concerns about being kidnapped as a result of the leaked videos, which added to the public and media interest in the case. As the investigation continues, authorities have detained all 12 gang members, including the woman implicated in the operation. The case remains under investigation as more details are being uncovered.
