Who is Thalia Graves? Woman Joins List of Allegations Against Sean Diddy
Sean “Diddy” Combs has been the target of numerous accusations in recent months, including ones involving drugging, physical abuse, and sexual assault. Thalia Graves, the most recent accuser, has filed a lawsuit claiming that she was sexually assaulted by the music mogul in 2001. Graves does not belong to the entertainment business, in contrast to many of Diddy’s other accusers, which begs the question of how she got involved with him in the first place. Her allegations have now increased Combs’ already mounting legal troubles.
Thalia Graves, originally from Houston, Texas, moved to New York City as a teenager. She started dating a Bad Boy Records employee in the late 1990s, and it was through this relationship that she got to know Diddy. According to Graves, it was during this time that Diddy got to know her and learned about her connection with his employee. Diddy reportedly asked her to meet him in the summer of 2001, saying he wanted to talk to her about her boyfriend’s job, which escalated the situation.
In her complaint, Graves details an unsettling incident that occurred in 2001 when Diddy picked her up in an SUV with Joseph Sherman, his bodyguard at the time. Graves says she lost consciousness after being given a drug through a glass of wine. She alleges that she later woke up tied to a pool table and was sexually assaulted by both Diddy and Sherman.
After the attack, Graves says she woke up in Diddy’s office too scared to report what had happened. Over the years, she claims both men contacted her, warning her to remain silent and threatening her safety and custody of her child. These threats eventually led Graves to move to Pennsylvania to escape their influence.
