Lahore: A controversial transgender event held in Lahore, reportedly with an official permit, has triggered strong criticism on social media after videos of the gathering went viral.

The leaked clips, showing performances that many online users called “objectionable,” quickly spread across different platforms, sparking outrage and demands for action against the organizers.

Critics argued that the performances went against social and cultural values, with provocative clothing and acts being presented as “art.” Social media users accused the organizers of misusing the event permit to stage an inappropriate show.

Many users are now demanding clarity on who granted permission for such an event, while urging authorities to take strict action against those responsible.

So far, the local administration has not issued any official statement regarding the matter.
