A massive group of bottlenose dolphins has been noticed in Gwadar’s West Bay, giving viewers a beautiful sight. The World Natural World Fund-Pakistan (WWF) called it an “encouraging signal” that the sea in this place is wholesome.

WWF-Pakistan explained that bottlenose dolphins are regularly observed along Pakistan’s shoreline. They’re generally seen close to the Indus Delta, Chiran Island, Ormara, Astola Island, and specific areas around Gwadar.

Pakistan’s coastal waters host 27 exceptional species of dolphins and whales, showing a rich level of marine biodiversity.

WWF-Pakistan, common sightings of dolphins indicate that the northern Arabian Sea remains highly efficient. However, the organization warned that Pakistan’s marine ecosystem needed to be protected through awareness and effective management measures aimed at safeguarding dolphins and other marine life creatures.

WWF-Pakistan said that these rising dolphin sightings should prompt stronger efforts to defend marine habitats and ensure sustainable use of coastal resources.
