No changes in weather conditions today. According to PMD’s website,  Pakistan will have cold and dry weather until the next few days.

The minimum temperature recorded today was 16.5 degrees Celsius and can remain till 15 Degrees Celsius till the next two days.

Karachi people will experience the maximum temperature from 28 to 30 Degrees Celsius till the next two days.

Few northern areas including Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan will receive rain and snowfall.

Pakistan Meteorological Department predicts shallow/moderate fog at motorways from Peshawar to Islamabad, Islamabad to Lahore, Lahore to Abdul-Hakim and Pindi Bhatian to Multan at early hours.

Districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Quetta, Zhob, Murree, Bhakkar, Nurpur Thal, Gilgit Baltistan, and Kashmir received rainfall in the last 24 hours.

Minimum temperatures recorded in different districts (in Degrees Celsius) are Para Chinar (-10), Skardu (-6), Bagrot (-5), Hunza & Astore (-2).

Torrential rain showers has extinguished all fires in New South Wales.

Officials say that severe rain has controlled fires on the east coast of Australia, reported on 7th February.

Officials have also warned of flash flooding in Sydney and other areas near the coast.

The Bureau of Meteorology said that some of the affected areas got the most rain showers in a year.

Most rain has been recorded in Sydney for over 15 months on Friday.

City’s lord mayor Clover Moore said, “It was fantastic to wake up to much-needed rain this morning!”

Officials have closed beaches for the public. 

NSW Rural Fire Service spokesperson Angela Burford said to the international news agency, “This is that constant, steady, decent rainfall that we’ve been praying for so long,”

 “This isn’t just one of those scattered showers we saw a month ago. This is helping our firefighters, and in some places, giving them a well-needed rest.”
