
Weather likely to remain dry, cold in Karachi, says PMD

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted dry and cold weather for the next 24 hours.

In morning, temperature of at least 17 degrees Celsius has been recorded in the city while maximum temperatures could rise to 29 to 31 degrees Celsius, PMD says.
The humidity in the air is likely to be 85%. Winds in the city are moving at 3kmph.
Earlier, snow in the upper parts of the country and rainfalls in the plains have added to the cold weather.
According to the details, with the snowfall in the upper parts of the country, cold winds have started in Karachi, as well.
According to sources, clouds are seen across the country, along with the cold breeze; snow in the northern regions while rain in the plains have added to the cold weather.
Quetta had a cold wave while skyscrapers in Battagram, Kalam, Swat, Malmjabba, Mansehra are all now snow-capped.
According to Meteorological Department, northeastern Baluchistan, including Quetta, is likely to have consistent rain for another 48 hours.
Temperature recorded was zero in Quetta, Ziarat. However, recorded as three degrees in Dalbudin, and five degrees Celsius in Kalat.
In addition, the weather also remains cold in Islamabad.
