Winter season persists in the upper parts of Pakistan due to rainfall and snowfall.
However, lower areas of Pakistan have started experiencing warm weather season.
Pakistan Meteorological Department predicts a dry atmosphere in most parts of the country.
On the contrary, it is expected that Kashmir and nearby areas can enjoy snowfall.

Rainfall recorded in different areas in the last 24 hours (in mm) Rawalpindi (46), Islamabad (25-38), Attock (24), Murree (19), Chakwal (18), Mandi Bahauddin (15), Mangla (8), Hafizabad (7), Jhelum (4), Sargodha, Gujrat, Narowal (1), Peshawar (20), Malam Jabba (15), Gilgit Baltistan (3).
Punjab receives heavy rain season with strong winds

Lahore and several cities of Punjab received heavy rain with strong winds last night. The weather became cold again in several areas.
Sources revealed that several cities of Punjab such as Chenab Nagar, Okara, Pindi Bhattian, Pakpattan, Phool Nagar, Jhang and Sialkot received heavy rain with thunderstorm.
The western weather system has entered upper areas on Pakistan on Thursday evening. The system will remain till today, according to officials.
Pakistan Meteorological Department predicts rains again with strong winds in several areas in the next 24 hours.
In addition to this, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan may also enjoy heavy rain with thunderstorm.
Apart from that, Karachi receives mostly sunny weather with winds today.
