KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms in Karachi from August 1 to 2 due to the influence of monsoon wind patterns.
According to the PMD, Karachi’s outskirts may receive heavy rainfall during the period, while moderate showers are expected in the city. Strong winds are also likely to occur during this weather system.
The city is expected to remain partly cloudy today, with chances of drizzle in the evening.
Karachi recorded a minimum temperature of 28 degrees Celsius today, while the maximum temperature is likely to reach 35 degrees Celsius.
The humidity level has been recorded at 78 percent, with southwesterly winds blowing at a speed of 12 kilometres per hour.
