The flight attendants of the low-cost carrier will strike in three phases over the course of the month. This will become a hassle for the company due to the holiday season.

At the end of last week, Gatwick Airport cut a substantial portion of its schedule; and Ryanair crews in five European nations are preparing strike action.

The Spanish USO union has organized the easyJet strike.

It comes only one day after the low-cost carrier revealed that it will be removing 11,000 flights; from its summer schedule.

The union is requesting a 40 percent increase in the base wage; for low-income cabin workers.

Hundreds of crew members will refuse to work for three 72-hour periods.

Bases in Barcelona, Málaga, and Palma; are all expected to be affected.
