RFCD begins the flash flood season
In Clark County, the RFCD begins the flash flood season. To begin the flash flood season in Clark County; the Regional Flood Control District held its annual press conference; on Tuesday morning. The county’s flash flood season lasts from July to September. The district will talk about the effectiveness of flood management; its effects on the neighbourhood; and whether or not there will be a significant monsoon season. During the flash flood season, the district warned residents that trails, roads, and washes could quickly fill with water; they should always be ready for floods.
A representative for the National Weather Service cautioned; that although while the Las Vegas valley’s monsoon seasons have been seven of the previous eight times; drier than average, homeowners should still be cautious of flooding threats.
Officials urged the public to always check the prediction; before making daily plans and to be prepared for flash floods. In a flood-prone area; you ought to look for higher ground. Additionally, you must never drive on flooded roads.
