The golden arches and Big Mac may have vanished; but McDonald’s outlets in Russia reopened on Sunday under new branding and ownership. “Vkusno & Tochka,” which translates to “Tasty and that’s it,” has been given to the American fast-food behemoth. Alexander Nikolaevich Govor owns Vkusno & Tochka, and Oleg Paroev is the director general.

According to a spokesperson for the new management Sistema PBO; the chain’s first 15 restaurants were set to open on Sunday across Moscow and the surrounding region.
“In the near future, more places around Russia will be opened,” she stated.
The rebranding took place on Russia Day, which commemorates the country’s independence. It took place on Moscow’s Pushkinskaya Square; where McDonald’s initially established its Russian restaurant on January 31, 1990.
