
Kevin Spacey ‘strenuously denies’ sexually assaulting three men in Britain
- US actor Kevin Spacey has appeared in court accused of sexually assaulting three men.
- The 62-year-old is also facing a fifth charge of causing a man to engage in penetrative sexual activity.
- He was not asked to enter pleas; at Southwark Crown Court.
After appearing in a London court on four accusations of sexually assaulting three men; US actor Kevin Spacey was granted unconditional bail.
A fifth accusation against the 62-year-old is causing a man to engage in penetrative sexual activity without his consent.
For the alleged offences from 2005 to 2013, he was not asked to enter a plea.
On July 14, Mr. Spacey will appear at Southwark Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing.

The Hollywood star was escorted by his legal team; and two police officers through a crowd of photographers; and media crews to the court entrance ahead of the brief preliminary hearing. Mr. Spacey sat in the dock, clothed in a pale blue suit with a dark tie and glasses. Tanweer Ikram, the deputy chief magistrate, heard his case.
“Mr Spacey firmly rejects any and all crime in this instance,” said Mr Spacey’s lawyer, Patrick Gibbs QC.
