Prince Andrew demands Princess Eugenie, Beatrice be made ‘working royals’

According to The Telegraph, Prince Andrew is lobbying for his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, to be granted working royal status.

The disgraced Duke of York, whose royal prestige was shattered after he was accused of sexual assault, has asked the Queen to reinstate his HRH title and to declare his daughters ‘working royals,’ despite the fact that they have personal employment.

This comes as Prince Andrew is said to have urged the Queen to’reinstate, recognise, and honour’ his HRH status, which he lost following a legal action against him for sexual assault resulted in him losing his military and royal titles.

“The colonelcy of the Grenadier Guards was his most cherished title, and he wants it back,” a close insider told The Telegraph. He also believes that as a Counsellor of State, he should be invited to royal and state ceremonies.”

“Most important to him is his status as an HRH and ‘Prince of the Blood,’ which he believes should be restored and his position recognised and acknowledged,” the insider continued.

Eugenie is rumoured to be relocating to Portugal with her husband, Jack Brooksbank.
