Prince Harry ‘happy’ over ‘second-row royal’ status, claims expert

Prince Harry’s visit to the United Kingdom for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee has sparked a lot of conjecture in the British press, with many calling him a’second-row royal.’ However, according to one analyst, Harry may not mind the term.

Last weekend, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex travelled to the United Kingdom with their children, Archie and Lilibet, to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, although they were only seen in public once, at the Jubilee thanksgiving ceremony.

Harry and Meghan were forced to sit in the second row for the service, which marked their first royal engagement since stepping down as senior royals in 2020.

While many analysts believe Prince Harry is enraged by the treatment, Celia Walden believes he may be okay with it.

“There would undoubtedly have been a period when being shuffled from the front row would have left Harry and Meghan smarting,” Walden wrote for The Telegraph. At the very least, Meghan.”

“Rightly or incorrectly, I’ve always concluded that, unlike the duchess’s Garbo-esque ‘I want to be alone’ act, Harry is probably actually pleased to be consigned to a second-tier royal,” Walden continued.
