Russian forces launched three missiles on the Pryluky neighbourhood in Ukraine’s northern Chernihiv area; causing some inhabitants to flee due to the threat of a fire spreading.
A still photograph of the aftermath revealed a large cloud of black smoke rising above the cityscape.
“The invaders fired three missiles towards Pryluky in the Chernihiv region at approximately 1:15 p.m.,” Ukraine’s Operational Command “North” reported on Facebook.

The settlements of Zaiizd, Petrivske, Tykhe, and Sukhostavets in the Pryluky area have been ordered to evacuate.

While no injuries have been reported, the Chernihiv area; has not been a frequent target of Russian airstrikes or shelling in recent months.

Chernihiv, notably the city of Chernihiv, “suffered significant casualties”; in March of this year after being subjected to a protracted Russian onslaught that left hundreds dead.
