Fully Vaccinated teenager mysteriously Dies Of COVID-19 in India

Before contracting the disease, the teenager had received both doses of the covid-19 vaccine. According to authorities, the teenager with the first name Shubham was accepted into a medical school in Meerut, a city in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, according to Outlook India.

Dr. R K Gupta, the deputy chief medical officer in Ghaziabad, reported that the youngster had a temperature and breathing problems.

According to authorities, Shubham died five days after being admitted to the hospital as a result of a drop in oxygen level.

According to Gupta, anybody who came into contact with him or his family will be checked for COVID-19 signs.

It is yet unknown how the boy got the virus. He tested positive last week, according to local media sources, though the precise day was unknown.

Authorities also declined to say whether the teenager had any underlying medical issues.

The most recent death occurs as COVID-19 cases in India are on the rise. Data from the Union health ministry on Thursday showed that in the past 24 hours, India reported 18,819 new COVID-19 cases and 39 fatalities.
