Authorities say a homeowner in Washington killed a man who tried to break into his home on Friday. Pierce County Sheriff’s deputies received a call from someone reporting that a man was attempting to break into his home and had shot him.Â
Authorities claimed they arrived to find a 36-year-old male deceased on a rear patio.
The homeowner was apprehended by police.
The deceased guy and his girlfriend lived next door, according to investigators.
Authorities stated the pair argued and the woman went to a neighbour’s house.
According to authorities, the woman had an active no-contact order against her partner.
According to investigators, the man who was shot and murdered attempted to break into a neighbour’s home before being shot.
He also threatened everyone inside, including his girlfriend.
The shooter, 59, was interviewed and later freed.
Prosecutors will look at the case to see whether any charges should be filed.
