After triple shootings in Ilford, two men died
In a shooting that took place in east London, two men were taken their own lives, while another man was left in a critical condition.
Just after midnight, armed police were summoned to the area of Henley Road in Ilford after reports of a dispute and rounds being fired in the area.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, one adult male in his 20s passed away at the scene of the incident, and another adult male in his 20s died a short while later at the same location.
During the “commotion,” a local homeowner who contacted the police and recounted seeing multiple males wearing balaclavas said he was the one who made the call.
No arrests have been made.
In the 86th murder case that has occurred in the city of London so far in 2018, forensic officers from the Met Police were observed working at a property in the neighborhood.
Of these, 47 were stabbings and eight involved a firearm. While police continue their investigation in the area, roads in and around it remain closed.
The police have stated that they are seeking to confirm the identify of the second man while they are confident that they know the identity of the victim who was in his 20s. Officers are hard at work trying to get the word out to their families.
The third person who was shot is still being treated in the hospital for his critical injuries. He is a male in his 30s.
A man who claimed to have called 999 but did not want to be identified told the media that he had also given first treatment to one of the men who had been shot as they waited for an ambulance to come. The man who had been wounded still had a bullet stuck in his abdomen at the time of the incident.
Shamima Ahmed, who has lived in the street for two years, told : “I heard screams in the beginning. I didn’t bother much because it happens every day around here.
