Man convicted of the murder of Nipsey Hussle to be sentenced
The accused who was found guilty of shooting and killing the well-known Los Angeles rapper Nipsey Hussle three years ago will be sentenced in a courtroom in Los Angeles.
The maximum penalty that could be given to Eric R. Holder Jr. is life in prison.
According to the records kept by the court, his sentencing is going to take place at the Clara Shortridge Flotz Criminal Justice Center at 11:30 am Eastern Time.
In July, Holder was found guilty of first-degree murder for the slaying of Hussle on March 31, 2019, in a parking lot outside of the rapper’s clothing store in South Los Angeles. The trial lasted for three days. He was 33.
Due to the fact that the shooting also resulted in the injury of two additional people, Holder was also found guilty of two counts of attempted voluntary manslaughter.
