  • A crowded ship sank in frigid waters early in the morning.

Four foreigners who perished in the Channel while attempting to enter the UK illegally have been charged against a guy.

On Wednesday, 39 people were saved after a dinghy encountered problems off the coast of Kent, but four of them, including a youngster, perished.

A judicial hearing is scheduled for Monday for Ibrahima Bah, 19, who has no established address and was taken into custody on Friday.

The next-of-kin of those who perished are still being sought after, according to Kent Police.

The Crown Prosecution Service had authorized an accusation against Mr. Bah for intentionally assisting the attempted entry into the UK of individuals he knew or had good reason to believe were asylum seekers, according to a statement released by the police.

Those who were safely extricated from the water included eight children.
