Man injures during assault in Belfast park
An incident that took place in the west of Belfast resulted in a man in his 20s receiving stab wounds to the head, the neck, and the leg.
The assault was carried out by another man.
When the incident took place on Saturday morning at 02:00 local time, the man was in a park on the Falls Road and was going through it when it occurred.
The road that leads to the falls is where the park can be found.
It was reported to the police that a wallet and a black jacket had been taken sometime during the course of the event.
The complaint of the theft was submitted to the authorities.
However, despite the fact that the guy was carried to the hospital for treatment of puncture wounds, it is not considered that these wounds pose a threat to his life.
The man was taken to the hospital after being taken there. The police are asking members of the general public for any information they might have about the case.
