Russia launched 20 cruise missiles over Ukraine on Saturday afternoon, 12 of which were intercepted by Ukrainian forces, according to Ukrainian military leader Gen. Valerii Zaluzhnyi.

According to regional governor Serhii Hamalii, at least four citizens were hurt in the Khmelnytskyi area in western Ukraine. In Mykolaiv’s south, six people sustained injuries.

Mykolaiv Governor Vitalii Kim claimed that rather than merely bombing infrastructure as in the past, the Russians were now specifically targeting humans.

“In many cities residential areas, hotels, just roads and garages are affected,” he wrote on Telegram.

Two homes were demolished and about eight were damaged in the Zaporizhzhia district. In addition, four individuals were hurt, including a pregnant mother and a 14-year-old girl, according to regional governor Oleksandr Starukh.
