These accusations are all connected to the incident on December 24.

Mr. Chapman, who had long hair and was dressed in a grey tracksuit, was also accused of handling stolen property between December 22 and 26, namely a Mercedes A Class automobile.

He spoke merely to confirm his name, date of birth, and that he had no fixed residence during his brief initial court appearance, which lasted roughly three minutes.

According to Merseyside Police, a 23-year-old woman who was detained on suspicion of aiding an offender was freed on bail pending additional investigations.

Paying tribute after his daughter’s death, Tim Edwards said she was “the most beautiful and bright star”.

Ms Edwards was described as “the glue that held this big family together”.
