Zelenskyy adviser says West’s ‘indecision’ is killing Ukrainians
The West’s “indecision” about the shipment of further weapons to Ukraine is “killing more of our people,” according to a senior adviser to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
“Every day of delay is the death of Ukrainians,” Mykhailo Podolyak wrote on Twitter.
His remarks come after Ukraine’s defense minister said he had a “frank discussion” with his German counterpart about German Leopard 2 tanks, which Kyiv is urgently requesting to confront Russian armor.
Germany has claimed that it is not preventing other nations from sending German-made Leopard tanks.
“We had a frank discussion on Leopards 2. To be continued,” Oleksii Reznikov said after meeting Western allies on Friday.
More armored vehicles, air defense systems, and ammunition would be sent, according to the deal reached at the summit at Ramstein Air Base in Germany.
An aide to Mr. Reznikov told the Media on Saturday that NATO nations committed to assisting Ukraine needed to be well ahead of the opposition.
According to Yuriy Sak, the West needed to clarify what it meant to stand with Ukraine and that it did not just entail keeping the country’s front line stable.
