Kyle Sambrook, missing hillwalker, found dead in Glencoe Gorge
During a search, the body of a missing hillwalker Kyle Sambrook who skipped a scheduled excursion was discovered in a steep valley near Glencoe.
Kyle Sambrook, a West Yorkshire native, arrived in the Highlands on February 18 with the intention of hiking and wild camping with his dog, Bane.
At around 14:15 on Saturday, according to police, their remains were discovered nearby.
The police said that nothing seemed strange about the situation.
A report will be delivered to the fiscal procurator.
Sambrook intended to climb the 3,353-foot (1,022-meter) Buachaille Etive Mr.
When he failed to show up, HM Coastguard, volunteers from Glencoe, Lochaber, and Oban, as well as the RAF mountain rescue team, started a significant search.
The deaths of a man and a dog had been discovered by volunteers, according to the Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team, in a deep valley above the Fionn Ghleann.
According to a Police Scotland spokeswoman, Mr. Sambrook’s family had asked for their privacy to be respected and wanted to thank everyone who had helped with the search.
They added: “Our thoughts are with Kyle’s family as we support them at this difficult time.”
