Turkey earthquake’s death toll exceeds to 11,500
At least 9,057 people have died as a result of the earthquakes that struck Turkey on Monday, according to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Even though rescuers are still looking for people who may be buried behind mountains of rubble.
According to a count made public by the Damascus government and rescue organizations in rebel-held areas, at least another 2,530 people have died in Syria, bringing the overall death toll from the earthquakes to more than 11,500.
