Pakistani celebrities lash out on motorway rape incident
A woman was raped on the Lahore- Islamabad motorway on Tuesday night....
The tragic gang-rape incident has left everyone shocked. Celebrities including Mehwish Hayat have strongly condemned the incident.
Tamgha-e-Imtiaz holder has expressed her anger over the indecent incident that happened at the Motorway. She took to Instagram and said, ‘Are we living in a civilized society or a jungle?’
“How come in Singapore women are safe to walk home alone even at 4 am? Why can’t we have the same sense of security here?!”
“Are we living in a civilized society or a jungle? Scream all you want abt #PublicHangingOfRapists- nothing will happen till the mindset changes! #motorwayincident,” the actress said.

By sharing a silent message on her Instagram, Mehwish also demanded public execution of rapists.
Earlier, actor Feroze Khan has also reacted to the inhuman incident. Taking to twitter, he demanded public execution of the rapists.
– I will always count on your statement that Pakistan will be “Riasat e Madina” and if you don’t hang these monsters raping and killing children and women in the open nothing can ever be changed … just make one example. Public execution is what I demand @ImranKhanPTI
