A woman was raped on the Lahore- Islamabad motorway on Tuesday night. As per the details, the woman along with her two children was driving to Gujranwala when her car ran out of fuel.
In the meantime, two robbers approached her car, broke the window, and took the mother of two to nearby bushes and raped her in front of her children.
Just after the news of the horrific incident spread like a fire, the entertainment fraternity raised their voice against the rape case and the country’s environment.
Many celebrities including Feroze Khan, Ushna Shah, Armeena Khan, and others took to their Twitter accounts are raised concerns over the incident.
Feroze Khan demanded public execution of the rapists and wrote,
“I will always count on your statement that Pakistan will be “Riasat e Madina” and if you don’t hang these monsters raping and killing children and women in the open nothing can ever be changed … just make one example. Public execution is what I demand”

Pakistani actress Ushan Shah wrote,
“The irony that I tweeted “I’m okay with this” to a video of a rapist being stoned to death an hour prior to news of mother raped in front of children on motorway and to days after news of five-year-old Marwah, shows how deep in trouble we are as a society.”

However, Armeena Khan expressed how uncomfortable she feels to be in the country. She wrote,
