Producing songs that explicated women’s sentiment to music for the younger generation, Taylor Swift is a singer of decades and listening to her music is quite nostalgic.

A piece of good news came for her fans on June 18th when the 31-year-old singer-songwriter announced on her Instagram that she is re-recording her album titled Red (Taylor’s version). The album is expanded to 30 songs among which there is an addition of six new songs.

The original version of “Red” included pop songs that racked up fame. The album “Red” served as a transition of Taylor’s genre from country music to pop country with a hint of rock.

Following her album “Fearless”, recorded in April 2021, “Red” is going to be the second music album that she is rerecording in which she is revamping her old songs.

Since then, fans were waiting impatiently for more clues about the album until August 5 when Taylor Swift dropped a 30 seconds long coded video about all the bonus tracks that will be featured in her new album.

Taylor has always been notorious for releasing Easter eggs about her music. This time, the “Willow” singer has collaborated with Ed Sheeran on a new song called “Run” which they wrote together nine years ago. The album also features singers Phoebe Bridgers and Chris Stapleton on two new singles titled “I Bet You Think About Me” and “Nothing New”.

The album itself talks about the time in the singer’s life when she suffered heartbreak. Swift shared with her fans in past April through her Instagram post that she is in a better place in her life now which made it easier for her to revisit those memories and wounds that inspired the songs in the album.

After selling her six albums to the investors, she is aiming to rerecord all her old songs for her fans. Her fans have to wait until November 19th, 2021 to listen to her euphonious voice.
