Punjab Traffic Police has started a major crackdown on drivers without licenses in Lahore and across the province. This has led to a significant increase in people applying for driving licenses at traffic centers.

In response to public demand for relief, Pakistan’s Interior Minister, Mohsin Naqvi, has announced a new update for senior citizens and students. Under this update, senior citizens can obtain their driving licenses from home, while students can do so conveniently at their colleges or universities.

Naqvi launched the Islamabad Traffic Police Mobile Facilitation and Education Service in the capital, introducing three mobile vans to help people renew their licenses. These vans will educate citizens, especially in schools and on the roads.

He also announced plans to offer home services for senior citizens to get driving licenses and ensure that students can easily obtain licenses at their educational institutions like colleges and universities.
