The Walt Disney Company announced on Monday that the sequels to “Black Panther,” “Thor,” and “Doctor Strange” will be released later this year and that the next big-screen installment of adventurer “Indiana Jones” will be released in 2023.
Doctor Strange And The Multiverse Of Madness has been pushed back from March 25 to May 6, 2022, according to Disney’s amended release schedule.
Marvel was obliged to postpone the release of its other superhero films in 2022 as a result of this. Thor: Love And Thunder, which was scheduled to be released on May 6, 2022, has been pushed back to July 8, 2022. Instead of being released in July, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be released on November 11, 2022.
The fifth Indiana Jones film, starring Harrison Ford, has been pushed back from July 29, 2022, to June 30, 2023. Ford, 79, was injured on set in June and has only lately returned to filming.
Several times during the COVID-19 pandemic, Hollywood studios shifted their film schedules. Big blockbusters are expected to help entice audiences back to theatres after extended shutdown.
The Marvels will now be released in February 2023, while Ant Man And The Wasp: Quantumania will be released in July 2023, among other modifications.
