V by BTS breaks a new milestone after surpassing 40 million Instagram followers

Kim Taehyung nicknamed V, a member of the global smash k-pop band BTS, has achieved a new milestone for popularity.

The Butter singer has broken the record for the fastest time to gain 40 million Instagram followers. The star has shared 46 posts and follows seven accounts, including those of fellow BTS members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, and Jungkook, as well as BTS official.

V debuted on Instagram with his fellow BTS bandmates in December and has already amassed over 40 million followers in only 135 days.

The band’s ARMYs, or millions of followers, hailed V’s newest achievement on the internet. Fans congratulated the artist with comments using the hashtag ‘#THV40MILLION.’

In the meantime, V and his fellow BTS members just returned to South Korea after completing their four-day show, Permission To Dance On Stage In Las Vegas.
